Animal Shelter
The Animal Shelter Director oversees the operation of the Mercer County Animal Shelter. The director maintains all administrative animal records and reports, enforces the Mercer County Ordinance for the Control of Domestic Animals and assists in the adoption of animals.

Adoption Fees
Includes: Spaying. Neutering, Worming, Vaccinations
Dogs
$106.00 for Male Dogs for residents of Mercer County
$128.00 or Female Dogs for residents of Mercer County
Cats
$64.00 for Male and/or Females for residents of Mercer County
Pick Up Fees
$37.10 per domestic animals surrendered to animal control
$26.50 per domestic animals picked up by animal control and returned to owner
Boarding
$7.95 Per day after pickup while at shelter
Quarantine
$79.50 payable before the start of the quarantine period
