Senior Citizens Center
The mission of the Mercer County Senior Citizens Center is to provide an array of essential services to qualified persons 60 years and older with the greatest social and economic needs, with particular emphasis directed to low-income minority rural elderly persons and persons in danger of unnecessary or premature institutionalization.
It is governed by a 15-member appointed Board of Directors.

Congregate Meals and Homebound Meals – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Exercise Classes – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Chair Volleyball – Monday
Entertainment – Monday and Friday
Bingo – Wednesday
Transportation – Tuesday and Thursday
Arts and Crafts – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Other services offered: Advocacy, Chore, Escort, Friendly Visiting, Health Promotion, Homemaker, Personal Care, Information and Referral, Outreach, Legal and Benefits Assistance, Recreation, Respite, Telephone Reassurance, and loaning Medical Equipment
